The kitchen sits under a barrel-vaulted ceiling, with custom seating in child-friendly fabric, oiled soapstone countertops and a custom curved backsplash behind the range, and the bar is tucked conveniently between the kitchen and the dining room. In the foyer, a Dutch door and heavy beams painted white visually raise the low ceiling, while the tiny powder room is solved with a wall-hung sink, a small round leather mirror and an open-patterned wallpaper.
