Meet Lisa
A barefoot designer with a lawyer’s discipline
I practiced divorce law for ten years before I found my calling as a down-to-earth, “barefoot” designer. The warmth came from my grandmother, Jennie LaSpina. The discipline, I suspect, came from the courtroom.
I keep my practice small on purpose. I draw the plans, I make the selections, and I stake my reputation on every home. My husband JC and I live on Spring Island, where we have just completed an extensive renovation of our own marsh-front home; you can see where that story began in the journal.
